AIC Githumu Hospital located in Maragua District, started as a rural health centre in the 1930s. It serves about 1,500 outpatients monthly and about 125 inpatients with its 34-bed capacity. The hospital has a HIV/AIDS Programme operated with the support of the government-mediated Global Fund.
