Forum for Women in Development, Democracy and Justice (FODDAJ) is a Women’s Rights Organization in with its main Ngong, Kenya. We strive to harness gender equality and women empowerment within formal and informal structures in Kenya.
FODDAJ applies context focused strategies in activism through collective advocacy as well as research and documentation of GBV trends in traditional communities. Our focus areas include;
Women’s Rights and against Violence Against Women, Strengthening Women’s voice, agency, leadership and participation in decision-making processes in public, private and civic sphere.
We enhance community to facility linkages for victims of violence to (Medical, Legal, Psycho-social, and Protection) services through our network of first-line GBV responders; We provide livelihood empowerment and life-skills through women spaces in our two learning centers.
